July 4th 2016.
A day of freedom for our country. I am so blessed to live in a country where we can worship God, where our children can go to school, get an education and don't have to struggle each day just to find food.  We are blessed with so many things. First is our children, and grandchildren, a beautiful place to live, plenty of food, and clean water.
I want to be totally honest with this blog. I want to share my heart and I don't want to just post all the happy, good times, but also the hard, trying times too.
Robert, Kristy, Andy and Katie will be coming home this month after two years in Germany. I am so excited to see them again!  They are going to living near St. Louis for he next few years and I'm tickled that it is driving distance close to us.  I really want to spend time with them and hang out together. Robbie is going to APSU and doing very well. He stayed with us from Jan. this year until school started.
We enjoy watching Chase & Blue play baseball. They are both really good.  They enjoy fishing, too. So we take them whenever they come to our house this summer.
I'm reading One Thousand Gifts  it is a book about thankfulness and being grateful for all that God has given in our lives.   Our grumbling and complaining is such a sign of a discontent heart with what God is doing in our lives.  Lord, thankful for your love!  Thank you Lord for your forgiveness!
